This reunion is looking like a low key type of thing as there are only a few rooms reserved so far so we are just laying low for now to see if any interest picks up soon.  We have almost 200 possible attendees listed but only about 30 plus have rooms spoken for (18) which is causing concern in the planning dept.  The golf will probably be dropped as an event due to lack of interest also.  I have the Banquet and tour of the Lexington under contract for Saturday and the caterers and liquor folks have been lined up for that.  We  are planning a Friday trip to NAS Kingsville and BBQ lunch catered there with VT-22 being the Host Squadron.  I have been getting a few drop outs from the attendee list lately with no further additions for quite a while, which usually means we have peaked as far as how large the number will possibly end up being .  Just FYI,  I mailed out over 200 flyers to the roster and received a large number back as undeliverable per the addresses, so that is a problem as we have no email or land addresses for numerous folks anymore.  My guess is that we are looking at a number between 150-170 persons total for a final show up at the reunion.  I will continue with my personal efforts to keep the number up but it is just not to be in some cases.
